Long time no see...

My PC has been broken for a long time.
so I've not been able to use SKYPE and update my blog.
Hello,again!

I'm fine and now I'm working as a nurse...
I spend my ordinary life.

Next sunday...December 27th is my birthday..I'll be 28 years old soon.
This year was very hard,but it's also very wonderful and precious.
It's so...memorable.

I was born on 27th..so "27" is my favorite number.
When I was a child, I often thought about my 27 years life.
My speculation was completely wrong...but I like my present condition.

Thank you and good bye my 27years old life!
...and I'll say hello to my 28years old life!

New playlist

I changed the imeem playlist "for my blog".

I chose one kind of music...that is RAGTIME!

RAGTIME was born in America 100 years ago.
And the jazz music is based on RAGTIME.
RAGTIME is more classical than jazz...the style is formal,but the sound is so cheerful!
RAGTIME makes me happy and smiley.

When I heard RAGTIME music, I always remember the memory of Tokyo Disneyland.
Because at the WORLD BAZAAR in Tokyo Disneyland, we can hear the Ragtime music.
"The Easy Winners" and "Maple Reaf Rag" composed by Scott Joplin are very famous.

Glade candles

At night time,I light candles..Especially when I want to spend a time relaxed.

I like the candles that manufactured by Glade.

I went to Cebu from June 7th to 27th..for 3weeks.
At first, I planed to learn English and work as a volunteer in Cebu.
But...I had a fracture 2 days later after I arrived cebu!! that's terrible...

I had to walk on the crutches...it's so inconvenient.
But everybody took care of me and assisted me.
So I was able to spend everyday very comfortable.
Thank you for everyone!!
I'll never forget your kindness!!

I like cebu..Philippines.
In Japan most of families are small.
There are a few kids in each family...like as me.I have no siblings.
and my relatives also have not many siblings.
But in Philippines most of families are big families!
I had a chance to eat dinner together with many kids.
Usually in Japan I have no chance to play with kids..because I have no siblings,therfore I have no niece and nephew..and most of my friends didn't get married or have no kids.
When I was young,I wasn't good at taking care of kids.
Because I didn't know how to play with kids...

But now I like kids!

My foot isn't healed...both the wound and the bone.
So I have to take an antibiotics.
I hope it'll get well soon!

new job

I resigned the hospital that I worked for five years this march.
Now I'm not a full-time worker...but I started a part-time job last week until I leave Japan on this June.

Now I'm working as a part-time nurse at a nursing home,a company where produces a physical check up and more...
I'd ever been working at only the hospital...so it's a new experience for me.

I'm a temp staff from a temporary employment agency...so I have to go to a different place every time...I feel a big stress every time:(
But I can get a lot of merit than demerit through my part-timr job.
I can catch a glimpse of many field of nursing care!!

...and I'm going to work as a nurse during my stay in cebu.
It's so good opportunity!
but I'm worried that I can work as a nurse in a foreign country...though just do it!

About 3weeks later my departure date is coming...

goin' crazy...

Recently I've been listening to music on imeem.
In past days,I used to listen to music on the box..but now I listen on the computer.
So I connected a cable between the computer and the speaker.

I like the song GOIN' CRAZY by Natalie.
It always makes me so sentimental..but it's so romantic and sweet...

London...it's a wonderful place!

I went to London from April 6th to 21th.
My former colleague lives in London..so I stayed at her room during my trip.

In London...everything is fashionable and attractive!
The building is wonderful...and people are also.

I have an impressive memory...
In London, young girls wear a colorful,fashionable and sexy clothes.
They wear the clothes that they want to wear.
For example,a chabby girl wears a cute mini skirt...but it suits her so much.
I think she has a confidence to show herself.
And she is good at showing herself.

When I buy a clothes,I always choose a conservative one.
Because I fear an eyes from friends,family...and even passers.
But at this point, I think it's bit boring...

I have more self confidence!
I want to do the things what only I can do.

I've just decided to wear mini skirt since today!
........no kidding.

I quit the hospital 2months ago...and now I have no work!
It's so terrible,
But I spend good life everyday.

I don't have enough money, but I have a lot of time.
So I always enjoy "slow life"...

Recenly I've not used a car...I try to walk to go everywhere.
And I like to walk around a park near my house.
When I take a walk, I found new things every time!

And I have a lot of time to listen music...

I often listen to the internet radio "Brandnew-J".
This program was offered by J-WAVE radio station in Japan.
I like this program...I can find a great new music through this program!

I'm going to quit the hospital 1 week later.
So recently I've been so busy!

I can't write my blog entry because I have no time!
...mmmmm

I have a plan after I quit the hospital...
First,I'm going to London to see my former colleague.
Second,I'm going to Cebu to learn English.
Third,I'm going to work at the other hospital to study new nursing skills.

This year will be an important and unforgettable year for me probably...

traveling all over the world!!

I like to see a map.
Recently I've been interested in Wikimapia.
I can see the aerial photo of all over the world in this site.
This is a minibreak for me.
The world is so big...and I only know the part of the world.
I hope...to glimpse the world!

I always dream to travel all over the world by my step...
I want to see everything that I've never seen!

NO NATTO,NO LIFE!

I'm going to move this month.
So I'm packing my household goods.
I've been in my dorm for about 5years!
So there are so many goods in my room...

Recently I haven't bought any groceries..because I'll move.
But I have one necessary...it's a Japanese food NATTO!
I love a NATTO sooooooooo much!
...If there was no NATTO in the world,I coudn't live probably!
I'm NATTOholic.
there was no NATTO in my refrigerator today...so I decided to buy a NATTO.

I'm going abroad after I quit my work...I'm excited but worried.
Because I can't eat NATTO everyday!
...hmmm, it's a predicament!

The meaning of Waltz for Tessy

I love music.
Especially I like jazz music.
Bill Evans is one of my favorite artist.
So my blog name was inspired from his famous number WALTZ FOR DEBBY.

WALTZ FOR DEBBY was composed for his little niece DEBBY.
This track is so lovely and cute as if child is dancing around!

I don't want to lose the kid in me forever...
And my name TESSY(most of my Japanese friend calls me TESSY!) sounds like DEBBY.
So I named my blog WALTZ FOR TESSY!
I really like its sound!!

TOKYO DISNEYLAND!!

I'd attended the conference for 3days from January 28th to 30th and did a presentation!

There were so many audience in the hall, so I felt nervous...but I made it!

After the presentation, I and my colleagues went to TOKYO DISNEYLAND yesterday.

TDL holds 25th anniversary event.

There are sparkle and twinkle decorations all over TDL!

Unfortunately, it was raining so hard...so we wore raincoat and walked around there.

But we enjoyed a lot of attractions!

Going to TOKYO!

I'm going to TOKYO day after tomorrow.
Because I'll attend the conference and give a presentation.
I'm preparing for presentation everyday...

I'm working as a nurse...so I always work at the hospital.
But sometimes we're given an opportunity to attend a conference...it's lucky, but so hard work!
The conference which is named JSCRT is held in TOKYO this year.

My title is "lack of understanding about lifestyle-related disease after kidney transplant operation".
Most of the patients after the kidney transplant operation don't recognize an importance of preventing lifestyle-related disease.
Nowadays the medicine...which is called immunosuppressant has been getting better so much!
So the patient's survival rate is also getting higher level.
But an immunosuppressant has a side effect.. it improves lifestyle-related disease like as hypertension,hyperlipemia and diabetes...
So the patients have a risk to lose their health and even life because of them.
It's a serious problem...
So they have to review the importance of preventing lifestyle-related disease and do prevent it!

We surveyed the current status of the patients and derived the best way for the patients to get across the importance of preventing lifestyle-related disease.

...To tell the truth, it's difficult..I think so.
Probably it's also difficult to prevent the lifestyle-related disease for most of healthy people except the patients!

Anyway I'm going to TOKYO!
I'm going to TOKYO DISNEY LAND soon after the conference...hehe.

flat share

I'm going to move from my dorm this February .
But I'll quit my work this March.
There is one month blank until I quit.
I didn't find next work yet...so It's not easy to move unfamiliar place.

Now I'm planning to stay at my friend's room only one month when I quit the hospital.
My friend suggested to me that we're sharing room
She lives near the hospital...and she is also working as a nurse,so her daily life is similar to mine.

It's my first time to live with the other.
I've been interested in flat share...I'm so excited!!

LUSH

I love the cosmetic shop LUSH.

LUSH was born in UK and has been in Japan since 1999.

LUSH sells cosmetic,soap,shampoo and bath additive which is named BATHBOM.

LUSH products are made from fresh fruits and vegetables...however they are no preservatives added!!

So they are marked "BEST BEFORE"...same as a food.

LUSH products have a sweet and appetizing scent.

But there is only one disadvantage about LUSH...the price is bit expensive!

I like taking a bath with BATHBOM...but I can't use often.

So this is my reward for hardworking.

Today I bought a face cleanser MASK OF MAGNAMINTY at LUSH.

I'll be relaxed and beautiful soon with LUSH.....hehe.

Corrinne May

Corrinne May is one of my favorite singer.
She's from Singapore.

She makes beautiful melody and lyrics...and her voice always makes me relaxed.
I like her music...especially her lyrics.
It is so heartwarming and peaceful.

"The Birthday Song" is the most favorite song of hers.
I want to present this song to all of my friends whose birthday are coming...

overworking...?

I've faced a serious problem recently...
I'm not interented in nursing work...it's a predicament!

I was determined to be a nurse when I was 3or4 years old.
My mom used to go to hospital...she'd been a renal disease,so she had to take a treatment once or twice a month.
I always went to hospital with my mom.
And then I longed to work as a nurse...

Now I'm working as a nurse in the hospital...but I'm disappointed in my work.
I like to take care of patients...it's true.
But there are many reasons that retard my motivation.
Currently I've spent a lot of times to manage my work.
My acquaintance always says that you're hardworking.
To tell the truth, I don't want to work any more...because I'm so tired.
...But I have to work.
I have no confidence to say that I can't do it!

I want to espace from my work...Am I a big baby...?

TEGAMI

Today my childhood friend went back to Tokyo.
She mailed me in this morning....

Sha said,
"I want to hear the song TEGAMI which was composed by Angela Aki...because I met you.I remembered the memory that we were junior high school student.This lyric recalled me the good memory with you."

We used to participate in chorus club at the junior high school...and we entered chorus competition many times.
This song TEGAMI was subject song of the NHK chorus competition last year.
I've never known this song's lyrics until she mailed me.
So I listened carefully to this song today...

After listening, I shed a few tears...
Because my heart was filled with our good memories...

My childhood friend

Today I met my childfood friend.

She lives in Tokyo...but today she had a day-off and came back to her parents' house.

We have in common...she is also working as a nurse.

She is interested in child nursing.

So she went to Tokyo to become a child nursing specialist.

We talked about our nursing....

We lives in different place...but we have same challenge and feelings.

We've been good friends since we're a elementary school students.

Thare are no secrets between her and me.

I spent a great time with my friend and her family.

On this week, a female patient who can't speak Japanese is hospitalized in kidney disease center...here is my working ward.
She is from Peru...and now she lives in Miami.
So she can't speak Japanese at all..her mother tongue is Spanish and she can also speak English.
When I saw her first time,she looks so nervous...she was worried about communication with the nursing staff.
She has a sister who lives in Japan...so her sister visits her everyday.
She has to take several examinations during her hospitalization...so they always go to the exam room together when she was called for exam.

I'm studying English now!...so I tried to talk with her in English.
"Good morning!"
"How is your condition today?"
"Do you have any symptoms?"
I'm not good at English pronunciation...but she understood my questions and answered with smile.
"I'm fine....I have no symptom,but I didn't sleep well yesterday."
...I was able to communicate in English! I made it!!
And then I tried to talk with her in English everytime.

My English helped a patient...I can't tell you how happy I am!!
I'm determined that I'll be a fluent English speaker in the near future...

...I've just received a calling from my mom.
She said "Why didn't you come home?"

My mom always take care of granma.

I told her honestly that I was worried and sad about my dad and granma.
She said,"Your dad doesn't hate your granma...probably he like her.But he can't express well his kindness to granma.And granma doesn't worry about it.You know,now she's an opportunist..haha.If you want to get along with dad and granma, you should come home.If you're not home,probably our family relationship will be broken!!"

...My mom is great.I'm sorry...
I'll go home next my day-off...

I'm not lonely.

Today I went to my teacher's house with my childhood friend.
He was the teacher when I was a junior high school student.

Recently I've been worried a lot of things...e.g.human relations at my office,my family's relationship...So I'm not willing to go out nowadays.Because I'm easy to cry if I remembered these things.

In my parents' house,there're 4 people...my mom,dad,granma and grampa.
My granma is sinile old woman...so she can't do everything by herself.
She needs someone's help if she want to eat,take a bath and even walk...
My father is always irritable with her.He avoid to talk with and swear her...They're real mother and child...What's happend?Why?
My family have a custom that all my family eat dinner together delightfully at every last day of the year...but the day of last year,we didn't have a fun...I was shocked..

I love my family...but I hate this relationship!
At first I planned to go my parents' house during my 2 days day-off.
But I canceled my plan...because I'm so sad at this situation...

Anyway, when I ate lunch with my teacher,his wife and my friend,suddenly he said.
"Tess,I can't see your aura...when you're younger, you have a great aura...what's happend?"
I'm so surprised..and then I cried.I talked to him all of my problems.
And he said,"Now you're in a bottom of your life...so you can't dive more. You can only rise to top of life!"
He saved my wounded mind.

My problems are not solved at all...but I 've gotten a courage to face my problems.

There are no problems which you can't solve...it's a trial for your development.
I believe this word...

Greetings for the new year!

Today I went to Atsuta Jingu(Atsuta Shrine) with my colleagues.
It was so crowded...
I always wonder where have people sprung from when I came hatsumoude(hatsumoude means new year's visit to a shrine).

This year will be my turning point.
Because I'll quit the hospital where I'm working...and I'll move other hospital.
I have to set my future vision.

To tell the truth, my vision is cloudily now...
I have to choose my pathway.
But I believe my road will run to the bright future!

I hope this year will be great and wonderful year for everyone!!
